// a nonprofit makerspace

Make light. Make things. Make community.

LightTree is a community workshop where curious people of all ages tinker, build, and learn together. Welding, wood, code, fabric, filament — if you can imagine it, we probably have a machine for it.

// 01 · what we are

A workshop for everyone

Most makerspaces cost more than rent. Ours costs less than a streaming subscription — because we're a nonprofit, run by and for the people who make here.

Real tools

3D printers, laser cutters, CNC, full wood & metal shops, electronics bench, textile studio, and a tool library you can borrow from.

Learn by making

From Laser 101 to welding certification — classes taught by makers, not lectures. Bring a project, leave with skills.

Community

Open make nights, repair cafés, and build parties. Strangers become collaborators over sawdust and solder.

Affordable access

Sliding-scale membership, scholarships, and free community programs. No one is turned away for money.

// 02 · how it works

From curious to creating in four steps

Take a tour

Free, every open hour. See the machines, meet the crew, ask anything.

Pick a plan

Day pass, monthly membership, or a scholarship — choose what fits.

Get certified

Short, hands-on trainings for each tool. Nobody runs a saw unsupervised.

Make stuff

Bring an idea or start one here. We'll help you finish it.
